I am a recently retired head teacher with over 35 years’ experience in special education, 24 of which were as a headteacher. I have successfully led schools from special measures to outstanding level.  I am also a trained section 5 and section 8 inspector being seconded in 2010/11 to act as an HMI Inspector.

I achieve results by drawing on my 24 years’ headship experience in which I successfully run four good and outstanding special schools as well as my excellent communication and team leadership skills.

'Allan is an outstanding head teacher leading with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity. Through times of great challenge Allan has consistently and compellingly led the school by having a definite and realistic vision of the school and building powerful strategic leadership, empowering all pupils and staff to excel.'
